MATH 1431 GRADING
Your grade for my Math 1431 will be based on:

EXAM 1
--This is an hour long in-class exam worth 100 points,

Exam 2--This is an hour long in-class exam worth 100 points,

Exam 3--This is an hour long in-class exam worth 100 points,

QUIZES--There will be approximately thriteen 10 point quizes given in recitation, we will save your ten best scores for a total of 100 points,

WebCT (CourseWare)
--This is a set of weekly on-line quizes. Each week's quiz can be repeated and only your highest score of the week is recorded! We save your ten best scores. If you fail to reach 70% during three weeks of the semester, the Department of Mathematics has the option to drop you from the course. You can access the quizzes by logging into CourseWare at  http://www.casa.uh.edu

Final Exam
--Your final exam is a 3 hour in-class exam and will consist of two parts each worth 100 points.
