Statistical analysis (particularly in biomedical imaging)

Image representation; frame design

Algorithm design for efficient processing of large data sets

Isotropic Multiresolution Analysis: smooth wavelets and frame scaling functions without directional bias in any number of dimensions.

Porous (void/solid phase) media: sampling and representation
