Pi Mu Epsilon is the National Mathematics Honor Society. It has more than 300 chapters at colleges and universities throughout the United States. The purpose of Pi Mu Epsilon is to promote scholarly activity in mathematics among students in academic institutions. Membership in the University of Houston's chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon is based upon outstanding scholastic record and exceptional performance in mathematics. To be selected as a member of Pi Mu Epsilon is a very high honor.
