Abstract

Hilbert space frame theory has a myriad of applications to problems in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, engineering, medicine and much more. Frames of vectors all of whose coordinates are integers have significant advantages for computations. But they are difficult to construct in general and have deep connections with elementary number theory. We will look at the known results in this area and the much longer list of elementary open problems.
