We prove a classification of noncommutative Brownian motions in terms of positive-definite functions on the infinite symmetric group with a certain invariance property. Our construction generalizes a well-known construction due to Bozejko and Speicher. In certain cases, we are able to prove several approximation properties of the underlying von Neumann algebra.
