January 29, 2014
4:15pm    CBB 110

Abstract

I will introduce basic but fundamental concepts in the area of scientific computing, and discuss high order numerical methods for hyperbolic type equations. I will present simulation results that arise from various applications, such as global transport problem and plasma physics.

Pizza will be served.
