Professor Charles Tucker
If you send email to me, please put the word "Calculus" in the subject line. Otherwise your email will be buried in spam.
I will resume my regular office hours in the fall.
Unfortunately, due to student privacy laws I can only discuss your grades with you in person -- not over the telephone and not by email.
Grading: There will be three major 100 point exams and a 200 point final. I will drop what ever is lowest-your worst major exam or one-half the final. These are four grades. The recitation grade will be a fifth grade and the Courseware average will be one-half a grade. Thus there will be five and one-half grades averaged. The grading scale will be: 92 is a A, 90 is an A-, 88 is a B+, 82 is a B, 80 is a B-, 78 is a C+, 72 is a C, 70 is a C-, 68 is a D+, 62 is a D, 60 is a D-, and 59 down is an F.
Homework is automatically assigned when we finish each section.
If there are any tests left over at the end of the semester, I will keep them until the end of the next semester. You may pick them up during my office hours.
