Math 2433, Calculus III, Spring 2008.
 

            Classes are MWF 12-1pm in Science and Engineering classroom building room SEC-102 . 
Students must also enrol in a   recitation section  associated with this class.
  The TAs for this class are Tae-Boem Kim
and  Huifang Li.

        The  Final  exam will be on  Monday May 5th from 11am-1.30pm  in the regular classroom.           
 The final will be a comprehensive exam with 10 questions each with a number of parts.
Your grade will be based  on your
 answers to 8 of these questions.
It will be based on the material covered in class up to and including Chapter 17 section 6 on
surface area.
You will need to know some material covered earlier in the course as well as formulae and results from Calculus I and II. Bring pens or pencils, the exam answers are to be written on the exam paper.  Calculators are not to be used in the exam and turn off all pagers and cell-phones.

        There will not be a make-up exam. If you are sick or will not be able to take the exam let  me, or your TA, know
BEFORE the exam.

            The text for the course is Salas, Hille and Etgen, Calculus, 9th edition, John Wiley.

            There will be 2 mid-term,  and a final, exam. Each mid-term exam is worth 100 points, and the final will be worth 200 points.   Quizzes will be given in the recitation sections and will contribute a possible 100 points to your final grade.
