Description of the course:
The class is focused on ordinary differential equations, and we will go
through different analytical and numerical techniques to solve them.
Some of the topics that we will cover are:
Linear and nonlinear systems of ordinary differential equations;
The theory will be discussed together with interesting applications in science and engineering.
Theory and applications will be illustrated by computer assignments and projects.
Information on Assignments and Exams:
Lectures.
Assignments will be posted every Thursday in the proper section in Vista - WebCT.
Homework. Problems will be assigned weekly, every Thursday in the proper section in Vista - WebCT.
