Maxwell equations by finite elements on polyhedral meshes

Thursday, October 20, 2005
3:30 PM- 4:00 PM
Room 634 S&R1

Abstract: A new discretization method on polyhedral meshes for the Maxwell equations is presented. The method is based on tetrahedral partitioning of polyhedral cells and the Nedelec elements on tetrahedrons. The method is illustrated by numerical results relevant to applications in oil industry.
