Plans: Major/Minor:
You must have an APPROVED degree plan on file in order to graduate. We suggest
that you request this degree plan at the end of your sophomore year, or at the
beginning of your junior year. This will give you ample time to become familiar
with all of your requirements and help you plan your graduation date. To
request a degree plan, you may either see the departments for the proper form
or view the ÓGeneral Degree SpecificationsÓ page on the Undergraduate Math
Site. Minor degree plans should also be submitted to the department of your
major before you file for graduation.
NSM
Capstone Requirement:
Be sure that you have fulfilled one of the following requirements for your
capstone. One of these options should be indicated on your major degree plan:
1.) Minor in any subject
2.) Senior Research Project: Math 3396
& 4396 or Math 3396 & 4389
3.) Honors Thesis: Math 3399 & 4399
4.) Teaching Certification
(TeachHouston)
5.) Double Major
6.) Double Degree
*Be
sure to contact the Math dept. or your UAC Math Advisor if you have questions
about these options.
