The AMS Graduate Chapter had Panel Discussion on "Things I wish I knew in my first two years of Graduate School". New graduate students often struggle with navigating the early years of graduate school. This talk aims to acquaint the students with essential tools useful for the initial years of graduate life. Some topics covered include: How to prepare for the qualifiers/prelims, advice on choosing courses, how to develop teaching skills, and how to select your thesis advisor.
