Colloquium

This talk is about models of incompressible fluids that carry particulate matter and interact with it. I will describe first some of the fundamental mathematical problems related to incompressible fluids. Then I will talk about the equilibrium description of the particle statistics, and a general formalism for complex fluid systems. I will then present some results and open problems for simple models.
