Colloquium

Abstract

One of the grand challenges in biomedical science is to develop effective methods for optical imaging. In this talk, designed for a general mathematical audience, I will review recent work on related inverse scattering problems and fast image reconstruction algorithms for big data sets. Numerical simulations and experiments in model systems will be used to illustrate the results.
