In this talk, we show how one can construct algebras from a graph. In
particular, we construct the Leavitt path
algebra LC(E) and the graph
C*-algebra C*(E) for a given graph E. We discuss the
following questions due to Abrams and Tomforde:
Does Morita equivalence of LC(E1) and
LC(E2) imply
that C*(E1) and C*(E2) are strongly
Morita equivalent?
Conversely, does strong Morita equivalence of C*(E1)
and C*(E2) imply
that LC(E1)
and LC(E2) are Morita equivalent?
