"Mathematics as an expression of the human mind reflects the active will, the contemplative reason, and the desire for aesthetic perfection. Its basic elements are logic and intuition, analysis and construction, generality and individuality." -Richard Courant

I am a fifth year Ph.D. student studying in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Houston. I work with my doctoral advisor Dr. Anna Vershynina. My research interests include quantum information theory, functional analysis, functional-analytic quantum inequalities, and entropy.

If I am not studying or working, I am most likely cooking, thinking about the gender gap in STEM fields, or sleeping.

Research

"The heart and soul of good writing is research; you should write not what you know but what you can find out about." -Robert J. Sawyer
