seperator

[28 Jan 2013]  The recent vulnerabilities in Sun Java is very dangerous threat.  Mozilla Firefox has a very quick update cycle and have put in certain restrictions regarding Java use in the browser.  Since many legitimate math websites use Java for graphing and other mathematical uses, you may find that certain websites no longer work or work correctly.

Below is one way to work around the Java restriction.

WARNING!!!  Use this fix very sparingly!  And never allow the configuration to be allowed permanently, as websites can be hacked and become malicious.

If a website using Java is not working, look to the left of the URL for the warning icon. FirefoxPluginWarning
Left-click on the red icon and you should see the following window. FirefoxPluginActivate
Click on the Activate button and the following Java windows will appear.

You may have to do this more than once, as it depends on the Java content.

The "Do not show this again for this app" option can be check to avoid this window in the future.
JavaConfirm

The website should now work as planned.
