    • Description: This two-week summer crash course in PDE is intended for undergraduate students of math, science and engineering majors.
      To sigh up please contact Dr. Gorb before June 17, 2017.
    • The goal of this program is to:
      • present an introduction to a sampling of ideas, phenomena, and methods from the subject of PDEs;
      • showcase special tools and techniques for solving particular types of PDEs;
      • highlight main applications of PDEs to demonstrate the importance of PDEs;
      • provide mini-courses on exciting topics in PDEs that should be of interest to advanced undergraduate students.

    Math Camp for Female High School Students

    • Description: Free two-week summer camp for female high school students of 10-12 grades with a fairly high aptitude in math.
      To apply please fill out this application form and submit it to the above email before July 15, 2016.
    • The goal of this program is to:
      • encourage girls to study and seek active careers in the mathematical sciences;
      • promote equal opportunity and the equal treatment of women in the mathematical sciences;
      • provide information about career opportunities and to discuss issues facing women in science and mathematics;
      • increase awareness of women's ongoing contributions to the mathematical sciences;
      • introduce high school students to the undergraduate program in mathematics in a university;
      • provide mini-courses on exciting topics in elementary math that should be of interest to advanced high school students.
