Can you prove the following result?
Suppose R>0 and C is a smooth simple curve in the xy-plane with length L and curvature less than or equal to 1/R. Then a wheel of radius R will take L/R - 1 revolutions to run around the inside of C and L/R + 1 revolutions to run around the outside of C.
