Starting Fall 2026 (Sept 1), I joined the Mathematics & Statistics Department at the University of Ottawa as an Associate Professor. While I am currently in absence of leave from the University of Houston (till Aug 31, 2027), this webpage and my UH email will be desactivated starting Fall 2027. About
I received my PhD from the University of Paris-Saclay (France) in december 2015 under the advisement of Professor Caroline Nore and Professor Jean-Luc Guermond.After working as postdoc at Texas A&M U university(2016) and Rice University (2017-2019), I joined the Department of Mathematics at the University of Houston in September 2019 as an Assistant Professor and got promoted to Associated Professor (tenured) in Sept 2025. Since Sept 2026, I joined the Mathematics & Statistics Department at the University of Ottawa.Research Interests
- Numerical Analysis and Scientific Computing.
- Finite Element Method.
- Incompressible Navier-Stokes equations (with variable density)
- Maxwell equations
- Discontinuous Garlerkin finite element for flows in porous media.
- Nonlinear PDEs with nonlocal diffusive operator (Gray-Scott model)
- Applications to turbulence, magnetohydrodynamics and oil reservoir simulations
