About me:
I currently serve as the Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Department of Mathematics at UH.
After finishing my PhD at the University of Texas at Austin in May 2010 (advised by
Alexis Vasseur), I studied for three years as a postdoc
at the Center for Nonlinear Analysis at Carnegie Mellon University (mentored by
Bob Pego). My research relates to partial differential equations, including work on hyperbolic conservation laws,
fluid mechanics, kinetic theory, and branching processes.
