Introduction to Stochastic Processes
- Grading information
- To compute your pre-Exam 4 semester grade, do the following. First, sum your best 9 assignment scores, divide the result by 360, and then multiply by 35. This gives a value ASSIGN. Next, convert each of your exam scores to percentages. Add the three percentages, divide by 3, and then multiply by 0.65. This gives a second value, EXAM. Finally, your semester score is given by ASSIGN + EXAM.
- Grading scale: 83–100=A. From there, use intervals of length 4, giving 79–83=A-, 75–79=B+, and so on.
- Exam 4 takes place on Thursday, 8 December at 11 am in our usual classroom.
- Exam 4 will cover the material from Exams 2 and 3 (Markov chains through Brownian motion). To prepare, please study the review sheets for Exams 2 and 3.
