Transitivity of Heisenberg group extensions of hyperbolic systems

Abstract
 

We show that among smooth extensions of a uniformly hyperbolic dynamical system with fiber the standard real Heisenberg group, those that avoid an obvious obstruction to topological transitivity are generically topologically transitive.
