Abstract
Once hyperbolicity of a dynamical system is established, it is natural
to ask whether it is ergodic or not. The task becomes significantly
harder if singularities are involved. The standard mechanism for
checking ergodic behaviour is a modification of the Hopf method. We
are going to review this method which serves as basis for the future
talk about my research.
