The Putnam Competition

• The competition:
  • Information for the 2008 edition: Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, 9:00 am - 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

    If you would like to participate, please let me know (torok at math dot uh another dot edu, 713-743-3478, 672 PGH).
    The deadline is October 13, 2008.

• Preparation:
  • Problems, solutions, hints, etc. This link includes material to prepare you for the competition.
  • We plan to meet to discuss problems. Hope to find a time convenient to all those involved.
  • This was a "Problem Solving" course held in Fall 2004, whose goal is also to prepare for the competition.
