The Putnam Competition

• The competition:
  • Putnam problems, solutions and scores (link to Univ. of Nebraska, Lincoln).
    As of Nov. 2006, many other problems were posted there (see row of links below title).

  • Information for the 2007 edition: Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, 9:00 am - 12:00 noon and 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

• Preparation:
  • Problems, solutions, hints, etc. This link includes material to prepare you for the competition.
  • We plan to meet to discuss problems. Hope to find a time convenient to all those involved.
  • This was a "Problem Solving" course held in Fall 2004, whose goal is also to prepare for the competition.
